 Berlin, at the beginning of the "Golden Twenties".

 In Schoenberg, Keithstr. 8, where also today still the seat of the business is,
 the first trade under the name "Altkunst" takes place.

 First mentioned is the "Altkunst" in the year 1923 on page 99 in the expendi-
 ture "German furniture of  the classicism" ("Deutsche Möbel des Klassizismus"
 (Hermann Schmitz, Julius- Hoffmann-Verlag).).

 After confusions of the Second World War Mr. Mueller takes over the real
 estate properties and leads the "Altkunst" by the years of the economic re-
 covery.

 Prospective customers, customers and friends flow into the "Altkunst", since
 1961 into the divided city.

 Starting from 1976 Rolf-Harald Doebler is to lead the coming 27 years the
 fate of the "Altkunst". Owing to the political changes at the beginning of the
 Nineties can again extend the prospective customer and clientele.

 March 2003. Rolf-Harald Doebler dies unexpectedly.
 Into his work steps Tony Meyer, which leads smoothly the follow-up start
 and now the "Altkunst" with large commitment.
